I think it is great that Alex starts gave speech at Hong Lim Square though Day 2 of Chinese New Year may have lesser crowd.
Anyway, a lot of people may be unhappy with some things here and there but do not dare to speak out. It takes lots of courage, conviction and leadership to speak out in a public place and let us give this gentleman a round of applause!

Hong Lim Square has been quite quiet for some time now. It is great to have speakers here and there at time so that the place really lives up to its name.

alex you are a young fellow. lose those ugly brown glasses. stop wearing those white shoes you are not in secondary school. neither are you playing tennis or jogging. you are making a speech.
just basic long pants and shirts will do. but at least carry a professional look with you.
what sad pictures these are. 20 people out of 5 million turned out. nothing but grass.

If the Pxx wanna give some speech, they will erect a large tent, get a whole bunch or RC pple to assist, bodyguards will be deployed. The wayang will start and they will then move around shaking hands, smile for the cameras and give some speech drafted by their scriptwriters. There will be lots of talk but there will still be NO SOLUTIONS.

Sad to say this is the reality “Hero in anonymity and cowards in reality”.I was there saw the pathetic gathering and went home after seeing Mr Tan exploiting the situation as usual as he cannot appear on TV @ NTUC INCOME’s expense.

Alex, you done it!
To catch the cubs, you visited the proverbial tiger’s den right in the thick of CNY when you should be enjoying.
That is your credibility of conviction for what you stood for. I CAN TRUST YOU AS A POLITICIAN.
It is pushing your personal frontier – the making of a change achiever, not a slavish follower.
The journey may be tough, but I truly really yearn to see you to make it into Parliament BY THE DIGNITY of “front door entry” instead of “back-door” ushering like a blind follower in a cinema of not-believable public show. People who grow and achieve in the business world I see constantly pushes frontiers – the status quo is always irrelevant to be left behind.
Alex, if you are reading this, you know you have fervent admirers – even one unemployed blogger was thinking of leaving you with the last $3.20 in his pocket.
Is that NOT telling enough?
I applaud you and will speak your name often to my friends with conviction.

Singaporeans are a smart people I tell you.
Why?
Because they travel far and wide. First to nearby countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Phillipines, etc., when they didn’t have much money.
They have eyes to SEE for themselves the poverty and sickening conditions there due to mismanagement or poor governance.
We can’t bluff people.
Let’s not waste time trying to convince people otherwise of mosqito bites.
The masses will still vote PAP for stabilty and survival.

Nobody bothered.
Out of 5 ooo ooo people.
Only 12.
Speaks volume. Pathetic.
Just look at the almost 100 000 at the casino – queuing!
Afetr all the ho-ha; time nd effort and square one.
Like all GEs since indepedence.
P.S. If this is a business given the worse than lukewarn response no investors would want to waste time investing.
