Molest victim recalls traumatic experience with YPAP member Mark Chow

Author: The 24 year old lady who was the victim of YPAP member Mark Chow in his second molest case has written about her traumatic experience on her blog.
Calling herself as “Shirley Zhuang”, she described Mark as an “asshole” who should be locked away in prison, if not a mental hospital for good.
According to information posted on his blog, Mark is a YPAP member of Pasir Ris-Punggol South and was nominated for Spirit of Enterprise Awards. Mark’s YPAP membership was not reported in the press.
The case occurred in 2006 when Mark Shirley for an interview as the owner of a model agency. He then told her that he had to “examine” her body as a “standard” protocol.
When Shirley stripped to her underwear inside a unisex toilet, Mark put his left hand into her bra and caressed her breast.
Below is an excerpt of what Shirley wrote on her blog:
“On the first day I made contact to join his agency, he asked me to be his gf in the first 5 minute after i see his stupid face on this earth. In year 2006, Mark Chow is already obese and distorted.
Which girl in the right mind wouldn’t get a nasty shock. He kept pinching my backside like a horny Kopitiam 60 year old Ti Ko Pek. Then he told me it was mandatory in the modeling industry to check out my bod. I already thought it was fishy.
He got me to strip down to my lingerie for a make believe FHM assignment and he caressed my breast inside my brassieur! I pushed his hands away. He even tested the water and ask me to strip naked. I rejected him OUTRIGHT and I was already angry but I did not know what to do, I was so young!
When I left the stupid pub, he pestered me like a horny prick to give him a farewell kiss or else he wouldn’t let me go home. He wanted me to go to his place. I did not want to make a scene. So I relented reluctantly to just a ‘kiss’ and almost threw myself into a taxi to escape this slimy cockroach. Yuck!”
Mark was earlier fined $6,000 for molesting a woman by touching her breasts, buttocks and calves. District Judge Sarjit Singh said in his verdict that since the touch of the chest was a “fleeting” one, a “stiff” fine would do.

Former TV actor and model agency owner, Mark Chow Yee Sze molested the 24 year old young aspiring female model at his agency four years ago.
Similar to the strategy used by YPAP Jack Neo, Mark Chow now 30 years old, had interviewed her at a bar at Gallery Hotel at Nanson Road on Aug 16, 2006.
Like our infamous movie director who entice any young aspiring actress with stardom and to groom her to be as famous as Fann Wong in exchange for sexual favours, Mark Chow told her that he intended to put her in two men’s popular magazines, FHM and Maxim.
To be suitable, he need to examine her body as a standard protocol.
The young lady reluctantly agreed after Mark Chow let her know that he did this for all his female models to find out if they are suitable to pose for the men magazines.
While they were both inside the unisex toilet, she stripped to her bra and underwear but refused to be totally naked when requested to do so. Mark Chow then extended his left hand into her bra and start to caress her breast. Shocked, the molested young woman pushed him away and he then left the toilet.
Most probably, Mark Chow will again plead for leniency with the district court Judge.
Through his intimidating criminal lawyer, Subhas Anandan, Mark Chow will again cite as mitigating factors his past contributions in community service as a YPAP member and a grassroot leader and that he was again of mental unsound mind at the specific time of the molest offence.
To prove that he was at times of unsound mind especially when molesting his victims, the ex-actor intentionally committed 3 criminal intimidation charges with fake replica toy guns at the Institue of Mental Health.
He was 1st charged with pointing a toy gun and threatening to shoot at a female nurse, Ms Toh Chin Gek near Ward 31A of Institute of Mental Health.
The 2nd charge for threatening to shoot at 3 other staff of the hospital with two toy guns purposely to cause alarm.
The 3rd charge accuses him of threatening to shoot at a Cisco Sergeant, Wan Mohd Halim with two toy guns near the mental institute’s emergency ward.
He was then remanded at IMH for psychiatric assessment which delay the court trial and wasting our taxpayers money.
This shows that he is not honest and remorseful even after been convicted on his first molest offence.
Just like our Pro-foreigners PAP top leadership who are arrogant and not accountable to the lowly local citizens. The dominant PAP party simply shove unacceptable and imperfect policies through Parliament and with blatant disregard using legal parliament procedure corruptly reward themselves with annual multi-million dollars pay packages with 8.8 per cent increment this year. This shows some truth when PM Lee said that if his Pro-foreigners PAP party ministers are not paid with high yearly salaries of multi-million dollars, they can turn into illegally corrupted individuals like Mark Chow Yee Sze.
Mark Chow was already convicted of 1 molest case with only a fine of S$6,000 and with 4 molest cases still pending.

I think serial molesters will be encouraged to join YPAP membership.
If caught and convicted like Mark Chow on his first convicted molest case, the strong mitigationg factors – doing community service and to be groomed by PAP as grassroot leader and future MP can let a District Court Judge to overule jail term with canings and impose a lighter sentence of a fine instead.
I sympathize with greenhorn District Judge Sarjit Singh who have to think hard to come out with a tolerant “fleeting touchings” on 3 erogeneous zones of the tired female victim who was not feeling well, under medication and taking a nap at the office of a karaoke lounge. The Judge gave YPAP Mark Chow a lighter sentence of a fine instead of a mandatory jail term like at all recent precedent molest cases.
Let us hope that another different Judge will not be awe struck by Mark Chow’s reknowned experienced criminal lawyer, Subhas Anandan and as to the stature of the culprit as YPAP when sentencing him for 4 more pending molest cases.
Actually, I prefer Justice Bao rather than another greenhorn district Judge to preside over Mark Chow next molest conviction charge.

Mark Chow need to examine the body of any aspiring female model as a “standard” protocol in his model agency to qualify them in two men’s popular magazines, FHM and Maxim.

A woman has been molested, and when she went public with such a traumatic experience, you have absolutely nothing to say about the molester but decide to blame the victim instead? But so what if it is not reported in the press that he is a YPAP member? It is not as though YPAP people are leaders of our country and need to be on their best behaviour to join YPAP. Similanjiao also can join YPAP. Neither was he on official YPAP duties when he committed the offences. What’s the big deal?
