NTU PRC student and Singapore PR moonlights as freelance prostitute

Author: A NTU PRC student who is also a Singapore PR was caught moonlighting as a freelance prostitute by a Lianhe Wanbao journalist disguised as an interested customer. It is not known if she is “foreign scholar” studying here on MOE scholarship.
The Chinese evening daily received a tip-off from the father of a Singaporean girl studying at NTU that her PRC classmate is moon-lighting as a bar hostess and offers “special service” as well.
The journalist called up the PRC student and pretended that he was “introduced” to her by one of her customers. He then asked her out for a drink. She declined and claimed that she has not been working at the bar of late as she needs to spend time studying.
Such cases are actually quite common and the real numbers of foreign undergraduates prostituting themselves as a form of “extra-curricular activities” may be higher than previously thought.
Singapore’s No 1 Sex Forum Sammyboy Forum contains many threads on PRC students offering sexual services ranging from $70 to $200 per session.
Some IT-savvy pimps even set up weblogs showing their stable of prostitutes replenish with photos, statistics and field reports plus ratings from satisfied customers.
The Temasek Review conducted a similiar “undercover” operation in April this year when one of our correspondents disguised himself as a customer of a massage joint in Chinatown and managed to record a conversation with the PRC “masseur” cum freelance prostitute, Jiang Mei.
The media is full of reports of PRC freelance prostitutes being given Singapore PRs and citizenships by the PAP regime. Most of them come here initially on student or employment passes and moonlight as a masseur, KTV hostess, prostitute or somebody’s mistress to earn extra income.
In spite of these real life examples, the PAP regime continues to insist that it only brings in “real talents” who can contribute to Singapore.
PAP strongman Lee Kuan Yew said during an interview with National Geographic magazine in January this year that it is a “good thing” that Singapore is welcoming so many Chinese immigrants (from mainland China) as they are more “hard-driving” and “hard-striving” than locals.
Perhaps these PRC girls are given Singapore PRs and citizenships for a different purpose – to boost Singapore’s birth rate directly as they are “harder-driving” than Singapore girls.

Let me share my personal experience here..
I sometimes need to entertain my customers from overseas, one of the activity is to have some sessions in KTV, once there, is up to the customers and the hostesses to interact and coordinate further if both parties are interested. I used to pay for my customers, up to S$300 for overnight services. Hotel expenses is additional to be paid by us as usual. These hostesses are either on visitors pass or student pass on some sub standard english school. (walau, now maybe Uni student also available) They are mainly from PRC, Vietnam, Malaysia, some even from Mongolia. A number of them, once got employed here after studies, eventually become PR, and continue the business.

I’m writing to you to highlight the problems that many of the foreign students who are on MOE scholarships here are abusing the system. Not only are some of them breaking their bonds upon completion of their studies without returning to Singapore, they are planning to break bonds even before they set foot in Singapore to study! Considering that I need to spend a year preparing for the ‘O’ levels, three years in the polytechnic and three years working, I will have to spend seven years (in Singapore). The time is too long though I can return to China midway, I will be away for too long.
Is there any way for me not to work in Singapore for three years? Just take away that 3 years will be good enough. Can those who know help me? Please be detailed. Thanks so much. This is urgent!”
The Ministry of Education needs to give an account to the public since public money is involved. How many foreign student scholars are being sponsored by MOE to come to Singapore to study in our schools, polys and universities over the years? How many have broken their bonds? Of those who have broken their bonds, how many have been caught and made to pay back? What is MOE going to do about those cases which have successfully “escaped”? Who is going to be responsible for such losses to the nation?
The Government’s rationale for offering scholarships to foreign students is to “catch” the “talents”, hoping that when they are younger, it’s easier for them to take roots and settle down in Singapore ultimately even after finishing their 3 year bonds. After giving scholarships for so many years, can MOE provide statistics to convince the public that such Government’s policy is working? I recalled that MM Lee stated some years ago that only about 30% settle down in Singapore eventually but I can’t confirm. If this is truly the case, then in my humble opinion, the Government’s foreign student scholarship policy has failed and needs to be tweaked to minimize further losses from our national coffer.
Hope to hear a response from MOE in view of the public unhappiness over the “foreign talent” issues these days.

lol recently there are many pigs in the States and they are mainly from China, no wonder our immigration authority and security are getting freaking busy these days screening the pigs and labelling them by numbers. Mostly of them are young pigs but they are quite smelly at times. It is good for the Americans because the Americans would use them as labours, and some of the pigs work like the dogs, their part time occupation mainly in the states are cutting, shaving the Americans pubic hair of the man and women. =D It is so enjoyable.
Though China, the world 2nd largest economy I have to say but sometimes, I wonder why the Chinese pigs citizens are still unhappy about it?!! Their country must be full of fake goods, brought goods, greedy pigs and lots of underground money. I’m very law abiding, so I live in my penthouse hdb. No problem. It’s very nicely done up, so it’s as comfy as your pte hse.
I’ve sold 1 condo sometimes ago liao and made abt more than half a million. My most recent sale is a landed which was bought at 1.1 mil but sold it at 2.5+mil. Aiyah, actually small money only la! Now, on hand I’m left with a landed & a condo, milking them with high rentals.
See? Why need to work? Just sit around and money will automatically go into my banks!
