Lady who conned me threatened to report me to the police

Author: I got conned on friday(26/02/10) by this lady selling an LG TV from Starhub. Did a deposit of $200 to her and she claimed that she didn’t receive the internet transfer and told me she wasn’t gonna sell the TV to me EVEN AFTER I HAD ALREADY MADE THE DEPOSIT. Now she’s demanding from me to pay up another $300 to get the TV when we actually agreed on a price of $480. She refuses to give me my money back and she even used racist terms towards me.
Her name’s Ismay Teo, claiming that she lives in Holland V. Her handphone number’s 93220557.
She was assisted by someone here in the forums to advertise the TV. The bitch apparently told this person that I had agreed with her to a Samsung TV not an LG one as she had already sold it to Cash Converters. Now she’s telling me that the LG TV is with her and that this other “person” is lying to me. I cannot say at this moment who this person is , but if you’re dealing with anyone by this name and number you can forget about getting your product.

I got a call from this lunatic today morning at 7am and she agreed to transfer the money. She has already given me the $200 she took from me, but nothing more. After 7 whole months she’s finally started using her head.
She has informed me to remove the post (on HWZ), and she’s been very aggressive about it. She has also threatened to make a report to the police. I am however leaving this post here because I feel that it’s only right people know who I dealt with and how the situation got out of control by this lunatic of a person. It’s also to “compensate” for the shit she’s put me through.
Like I mentioned, if you’re reading this Ismay Teo(that is, if you can read), you should never have f****d with me. It’s my time now.
Thanks to all those who kept bumping this post to keep people informed. Do remind people about this, and beware of her. And yes, she’s the lady in the blog posted here by sunkissed_cooper, so take a good look at her.

You have yet to explain how this ‘letter or comments’ is a public concern.
…Unless TR is a private blog; than anything goes as you please and out goes your drive for donation as well.
Besides the said matter is a dispute between 2 parties.Is TR running a trial here or what.
Even if you do on what basis do you adjudicate?
Look,I have no pecuniary or other interest in any of the party involved.I say this for the interest and image of TR as an alternative voice.
Such that TR cannot be caught off-side or rather taking side.

How can this letter stands beside other good and critical letters regarding government policies, heartland issues like HDB prices, miss-firing pastors, ponzi schemes like Sunshine Emp and Profitable Group.

Ah Beng is right to post this. Sometimes public exposure is the only way to deal with crooks. The police will tell you that this is a civil case and won’t do anything. Going through the courts takes time and money. The main stream media is only interested in feel good stories and nobody really reads private blogs.
Sites like Temasek Review and Online Citizen should be quick to fill a niche for guys like Ah Beng who need a place to fight their battles against the people who cheat them.
