What happened was indeed very bad, Malaysia should just move on
Malaysia wants Singapore to explain the damaging remarks allegedly made by its senior government officials against Malaysia and its Prime Minister, reported The Star.
Malaysia’s officials said it would be best to wait for Singapore’s explanation before any reaction was given.
“I am sure Singapore will explain soon enough. I am sure some people are already embarrassed with the leak,” said a senior official commenting on leaked US diplomatic cables exposed by WikiLeaks.
The cables, recorded in 2008 and 2009, involved Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) senior officials Peter Ho; Bilahari Kausikan and Tommy Koh in meetings with US Deputy Secretary of Defense for East Asia David Sedney.
Kausikan reportedly said: “A lack of competent leadership is a real problem for Malaysia”, citing the need for Datuk Seri Najib Razak to prevail politically over the murder case of Mongolian model Altantuya Shaariibuu.
In his reply to media on Sunday, Singapore’s Foreign Minister George Yeo had dismissed these comments as confidential “gossip and cocktail talk” which should not have been released.
He added that the ministry would not check the veracity of the remarks, nor comment on what could have gone on in an informal and confidential setting.
Malaysia’s officials should take note that Singapore’s elite million-dollar ministers and officials can never be wrong and even if they are, its just an “honest mistake”.
What happened was indeed very bad, Malaysia should just move on.
.
Alan Au

It is not arrogance per ce.
Such attitude is the hallmark of absolute power.
Let me explain.
Ever notice people who came from very humble families like Mah Bow Tan,Dhanabalan or even Vivian Balakrishnan soon grows to be the worst kind of human being under PAP-just like this Kausikan ,Tommy Koh and etc?
Because when one is endowed with absolute power to rule for so long as the PAP the similarity with Hitler,Stalin and other cruel authoritarian regimes follows. They are either driven by this aura of being the chosen people to lead other lives. Therefore they do not see human as human but digits.Pol Pot of Cambodia is a classical example.
Once that aura wears off.Everyone of these pricks suddenly comes down to earth and claims they were simply mesmerized by the power that sat.
Same phenomena with monarchs for thousands of years ago.Because being human at some point they wonder over their power over fellow human that decides their lives and death. What gives? This is thus explained away as their god-given rights. In other words their rights to rule over other lives flow from the heaven. That is why almost all monarchy had a religious head to justify their deeds or misdeeds.
Democracy put an end to such divine rule. But we are mot living under a democracy.Ours is a pseudo democracy or make believe utopia.Because only one family holds an absolute power over fellow Singaporeans as human. And any divinity to rule over other fellow citizens flow from that.
Thus George Yeo draws his moral authority to ride rough over fellow citizens flow from Lee family.Take that away and he is nothing.

Malaysia should severe all ties with Singapore immediately.
Forget what has been agreed for the railway land, the shifting of the Malaysian immigration and checkpoint authorities nearer the causeway, etc to teach the Singapore ministers not to be so arrogant.
Tell the ruling party that they will only deal with the abovementioned matters when the opposition is voted to run the Singapore government. Period!!!!

If Malaysia wants to prove Singapore wrong and show that Malaysian politicians are not incompetent, Malaysia should cut off the water supply?
That would suck, since we need to wash our clothes.
PAP ministers of course can import expensive Zegna shirts from Italy by the truck load or have their maids wash their clothes with imported Evian spring water from France.
The rest of us lesser mortals, we will have to drink NEW WATER.
Lol!

No worries folks…
Just a matter of time before PAP singapore get some the same usual stuff about what UMNO/BN malaysia is “gossiping” about PAP singapore…
Then it is PAP Singapore turn to ask for same wayang “clarifications” from UMNO/BN Malaysia.
Interesting no…seeing all these political parasites running hither and thither like ihitmyselfintheface imbeciles and idiots that they truely are….right out there in the open wide world.
Only the free flow of information can prevent those who dream of becoming your master.
Either that…else move to a country where the people and the country comes first…why fight and sacrific for self serving parasites!!! Let them go bleed themselves first for whatever shit they are crapping to get on…

The Malaysian Government should ask the Singapore Government if the comments made are officially sanctioned lines.
Of course the Singapore Government will deny and say that these are unofficial “gossip and cocktail talk” even those comments of LKY in which case Peter Ho, Tommy Koh and Bidadari Kiasu should resign or be sacked.
What about Mentor Minister? He is always above everything else. Will he will apologise like he did before?

It is said the biggest sin of all sins is to talk bad about somebody behind his back. The reason being it is unfair as he is unable to defend himself and naturally anybody will get angry when he gets to know about things said behind his back. However there are hundreds of officials representing the government in various capacities. So it stand to reason that you cannot gag each and everyone of them. Not all of them are smart, intelligent and efficient as they appear or are made out to be. Some of them are downright arrogant and obviously plain stupid as the leaks revealed. They are not that brainy after all.

Malaysia should NOT let Singapore get away with this. Throw the international relations code book at our govt. Make our govt pay, one way or another!
If Malaysia lets Singapore off lightly over this, I can guarantee you that Singapore will do it again and again.
Look, it’s a lie that Anwar is guilty of his crime. If there was evidence, it would have been easy to conclusively convict him long ago. If he is really a horny (as someone described here) homosexual, there would be other partners. Where are they?
LKY, being a lawyer, understands this. And yet, he and our MFA guys went to the extent of passing on a lie about a politician of a foreign govt on to other foreign govts. This is pure cloak-and-dagger manipulation and playing dirty power games. At the expense of Anwar and Malaysia.

What Singkie officers said were all the truth, except maybe about Anwar did the thing. The truth are:-
-Malaysian politicians are very incompetent. They are in power because there are lots of stupid people who voted for them;
- Malaysian politicians are very corrupt. Even my neighbour who is an active member of of a branch got 1.5 acre of industrial land for practically free;
- Many Malays continue to support Najib despite knowing he was involved in an unnameable Mongolian woman’s murder. My only answer to this is “Stupidity”.
And I also believe Malaysian Ministers said bad things about Singapore too. The difference is, they’re not published, yet.

DR M THINKS LKY KNOW’S THAT ANWAR IS AH QUA
=================================================================
Dec 13 (Bernama) — Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said today he believes Singapore Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew has knowledge of the activities of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. He was asked to comment on a newspaper report that the Singapore intelligence agency had confirmed the activities of the Malaysian opposition leader on the basis of “technical intelligence”.”Yes, indeed. I think he (Lee) knows but the political parties are pretending they do not know about it,” he told reporters after
delivering a talk on “Globalising Malaysians in 2020″ at the Tenaga Nasional University, here.Newspapers reported that the WikiLeaks non-profit media organisation exposed the matter based on information obtained from an intercepted cable of the US State Department dated November 2008.

It all depends on the character of the Malaysian PM that is currently in office.
During Mahathir’s term, he practically encourages his ministers and Members of Parliament at the Federal and State levels to be as vitrolic as he was.
This saw a complete change when Badawi took over as PM, and now with Najib since 2009.
With these two persons in the Malaysian PM’s Office, the relationship between Malaysia and Singapore took on a more positive change, with many disruptive issues suddenly resolved amicably.
The Wikileaks that exposed the back-stabbing remarks made as recent as 2008 and 2009 will surely be a blemishing mark on Singapore’s Government, especially when these were made during the term of the two friendliest Malaysian PM after more then 20 years !!!
Singapore’s friends will surely ask themselves – “with friends like this, who needs any enemies” ?

We talk behind our neighbours’ back while at the same time offer diplomatic smiles.
The fact is, we Singaporeans, are too arrogant and proud of our achievements that we dismiss others as intellectually inept.
The truth is, we are a bunch of hypocrites.
Whichever way we want to turn this, Singapore did something wrong.

Seems like someone said “cloak and dagger”
It is wrong for anyone in any capacity representing a country to blabber off their mouths to another representative of another country, be it official or non official.
Obviously the Americans though more of it and sent an indepth cable from their intel dept which was intercepted.
Why I said my 1st sentence, it seems like someone is trying to drive a wedge between SG and Msia.
Someone who can gain from it. Of course if this theory is right, they will NEVER release any information from Msia. Thus creating this deep seated divide.
Of course if this is NOT the case, they will release info if any on what Msia reps said of SG.
But seriously, they have already release suspect highed level involvement of Msia on enriching radioactive materials for less desirable countries and even terroist links. So what else is more damaging, hence like I said they may not release Msia reps opnion on SG it whether they have it or not.
But not matter what, SG reps have not rights to say such insipid and low IQ remarks even for the fun of it at an event such as meeting a high level diplomat from the US.
If fact as I said earlier NO COUNTRY representative should ever do such thing, it shows a lack of intel and integrity, something the people who chose or voted for them would have wanted.
Cheers

YOU GOT A VERY STRONG POINT THERE. The two new Malaysian PMs have dumped the old political baggage of anger, vitroil, suspicions and embrace good neighbourly relations.
And now all these shits splashed on the international stage. GY has got a lot of tidying up to do to clear this absolute mess. If he can’t or failed of accomplishment, then it is his dead baby of carrying this impossible load of reconciling relationships with our northern neighbour and our Asian neighbours.
The political costs could come in very expensive on unresolved disputes as Malaysia plays the hard ball of business is business – as brutal as it can be.
All these unhappy and disastrous consequences because we CANNOT DUMP OLD BAGGAGE of irrelevance and move forward in embrace of a new society, new political culture, and integration with global societies.
WE SEEM TO BE TRAPPED IN DARK HISTORY OF THE PAST OF UNFORGIVING, SUSPICIONS, SELF-DELUSION AND ARROGANCE when our future depends on harmonious relationships with one and all in this planet.

Did anyone noticed that the leaks was purportedly given to Australian media and no one else?
Understanding Australian’s bullying and racist mentality, it is not surprising at all if this is a set-up by the despicable Australians to publish all these leaks with the hope to divide ASEAN countries, so as to continue their rein in and strengthen their position within Asia, as a strong Singapore or ASEAN will dilute the voices of Australia within the region. The Australian were clearly out to create tensions amongst the Asia countries, as these questionable mother-fuxking albino dogs are always out trying to do so!
After Singapore’s fall-out, we can be sure that they will then publish what Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea or China said of other countries…and then let all these countries fight amongst themselves, while they become a spectator and start their hidden agenda in getting more control of the region thru navigating the quareling countries.
Beware of the hidden agenda of the despicable Australian scums!!!

we love sg, but we cannot be held hostage by one idiot’s big mouth.
‘They are just whining to support their narrow selfish interests.’

if we comment, then we r whinning? what about you?
‘These people have more in common with the PAPies, who they seek to replace, than they think. I guess in trying to fight the devil, it’s inevitable that one becomes it’

we don’t backstab our neighbours, but you are so right to say we are trying to fight the DEVIL, so you yourself has called the papigs the devil. you are right, indeed. so the angels that fight the devil become one too? Very convoluted thinking.

This ‘fat loser’ statement of Japan sure came from the Singapore Embassy in Japan cause the bald head of the embassy is fond of making such statements.
More revelations will come sooner from ‘WikiDidNotLeak’. It was the Singapore ‘dogplomats’ who leaked to their USA spymasters.
