So many sagas / controversies – trust?

I am now in Bandung speaking at the International Academic Conference – Green Political Dynamics (Ecology, Wisdom, Democracy and Social Justice).

As i listened to the presentations – it dawned upon me that arguably, so many sagas/controversies may have affected Singaporeans’ trust and cofidence.

For example,

… the “football” $500,000″ donation

… the City Harvest Church case

… Aljunied town council’s many issues with the Ministry of National Development

… alleged corruption of the general manager of Ang Mo Kio town council

… the $2 AIM company

Would Singaporeans like add to the above list?

SZH, PAPpy has half a century of fake news presentation of 1% truth, 99% lies, fantasy and propaganda – it is a meandering river of endless lies, scams and deception.

Look no further than CPF – backdoor taxed from commencement and past 55, it is theft of private property by all common law and statutory law applications. There is NO SUCH a thing as perpetual trustee in any where in the world in over 700 years of trustee law application – but 100% of the peasants unaware of this.

I would like to add in the mistrust when taking away the 4 neighbour Junior Colleges.

With so many secondary schools now offering 6 years courses to A levels, didn’t they had the foresight on this previously of taking students away from JCs?

Why can’t we allow students with 20 points in O levels go to these 4 JCs?
I have many passionate students who had to go as private candidates because they don’t have enough points.

Talk about walking the talk to providing education to our teenager, why don’t we allow these cohort of at least 5000 students have a JC education?

Are we sidelining our own local students again?

China’s Xi is a Good Leader. He knows how to “clean up” effectively.

Sadly, in my Company, SG Inc…..Our Leeder is too “pre occupied” in “protecting his own interest” as well as “preventing past secrets” from “Leaking” out !

It is so obvious…he is “afraid” and dosen’t want his past senior like TCB to be our next “President” for our Company, SG Inc.

    Why ?,why?, why?

    Sure is “fishy” indeed !

Too many to recall offhand. However , some that immediately come to my mind are NKF, Renci , Town councils mega losses of sinking funds monies in dubious investments, HPL saga, the umpteenth losses of big spenders TH/GIC.

With a ownself check ownself governance system in existence for so many years, afraid what we know may only b a tip of a colossal Pandora iceberg which if can be cracked open , your list may run as long as the great wall of china.

  • Amos humiliate L*L and PAP:

Sagas and controversies happen because, as exposed by Amos in US Court, the system is “rigged” by self-serving, greedy PAP.

  • Main Obstacle 4 Opposition:

Yes, the main obstacle Opposition face all the while is the majority has too much excessive trust in the garmen.

So much that its become a real problem because this majority trust unquestioningly. This is human nature when one over trusts .

    A problem waiting to explode.

They dun even ask what happens when their flat depreciates to zero value, way before 99 year lease expires. Eg. 70 year old flat. By this time, no one would buy it. If no one buys it, its resale value is $0. Things that people don want is $0

    >> FLASHBACK to GE2011 (“watershed election”) — when Smart S’pore Voters decided “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH” and delivered to the PAP “A Big Tight Slap in the Face” as follows:
    – lowest vote margin of 60% (since independence).
    – not one but two heavyweight Ministers (George Yeo,Lim Hwee Hua) were voted out (booted out) of political office.

    >> Subsequently, following Internet comment appeared:

Since GE2011, Pinkie Loong has been talking a lot about “trust between PAP Govt and The People”.
WHAT THE HECK does he know about “TRUST” ???
I would rather trust a Geylang Prostitute than trust a PAP Minister !!!

  • Not the Full Picture:

What developed economies and cities did over a longer period, we are compressing into a much shorter time frame.

Some of these examples are akin to city folk going about daily activities with the old kampung mindset (as far as governance is concerned).
