PAP member: Blind obedience will not bring our country, or the Party, forward

Some people from the PAP have written to me to express their disapproval of my stance on the Lee family saga (to convene an open inquiry), given my ties to the Party. Some of them have questioned my loyalty, and at least one person has made threats against me. In response, I will repeat what I said in an earlier comment.

I have never insinuated that the allegations made against the Party leader are true. It is ridiculous to simply take the Lee siblings’ word for granted, just as it is inappropriate to simply take the PM’s word for granted. This is why I called for an inquiry – so that we can find out more about the matter and come to a more informed conclusion on the issue.

Therefore, I am eager to hear the Party leader’s response, and I do hope that the allegations made against him are false.

I hope that I am not the only person within the PAP who thinks that the national interest must always come first, followed by the Party’s interests; and that the Party leader’s personal interest, on the other hand, is a separate matter. This is why I believe that it is important that the Party leader deals with the serious allegations made against him so that we can move forward as a party and have our confidence in our leader restored, or reconsider our choice of leader, if necessary.

My point is this – I do not believe in blind obedience. This is not a wild allegation made by some fringe group, but by the Prime Minister’s siblings, who are high-profile individuals. It is therefore not disloyal to ask questions and seek answers on the issue.

If the Party leadership believes that by raising these questions, I am disloyal to the Party, it is always open to them to expel me. But I choose to believe that they are more progressive, intelligent and thoughtful than that.

Making threats against me on the other hand, is not only disgraceful, but, given the circumstances, painfully ironic.

  • Amos humiliate L*L and PAP:

It is not just a Lee family problem. This is a PAP problem. PAP with its bunch of self-serving, spineless people is The problem.

Time to be brave like Amos. Speak out. Ask questions. Demand answers.

Who are you to comments on our Great Leader PM Lee family affair?

GCT already said it is a petty family affair.

Sort out personal matters first. This is the origin of the fiasco now where Loong is now labeled as untrustworthy, incapable of SG leader, with one call against him that he used state organs to persecute his siblings on personal matters.

Then it’s high time to bite out or Loong to step down as PM, reason being held has created a bug scandal affecting SG political and international standing.

  • Harder Truths:

People should realise the whole PAP and its supporters are the problem.

If LHL goes there will always be another person like LHL (or worse) ready to take over. Supported by the PAP electorate, police, ISD and all public servants.

The island is already economically unsustainable – look at the GDP and balance of payments. East Asia is moving on without SG. The SG model based on extortion is coming to an end. It is only a matter of time and within the next generation.

Does not matter what happens to LHL etc – the system will not change courtesy of the natives – and the end result for this tiny island can be seen on the horizon.

Brainwashed followers are the worst people to live and deal with. They’ve no clue how dangerous it is if their leader is really a crook.

We could be seeing a replay of the Con Hee Church’s saga where blind and dumb followers ‘superglued’ themselves to their leader and stick with him even after he was proven guilty.

You pledge your loyalty to a party only if the leader is upright and deserve your respect. You don’t simply blindly trust, follow and obey. If people are dead sure he did no wrong, what’s wrong with convening an open inquiry?

Well done, Rio. You stand strong despite the threats. (Shame on those hooleegans.) You’ve rightly set an excellent example for your fellow party supporters to do what is right for our country, not blindly following a party.

  • Blind Faith:

This is the whole trouble with their governance. Right or wrong dont ever question their actions and it will eventually lead to the downfall of a country.

Party loyalists are like robots that have no guts and minds of their own to question when things are not in order. If you have principles, you will not blindly agree to everything and that goes to the 70% too.

GOOD to read that there still PAP supporters who are not blind followers.

In most one party states, the supporters are simply blind followers.

SG needs a leader who is honest, upright and sincere, one who really serves the country first and not himself, his family or his followers.

Why is Britain great. Any time the PM is not up to the job, he’ll be challenged for the job.

When Liverpool is not playing well, its supporters will criticise the players.

Blind loyalty means you have closed your eyes and refuse to see reality.
Only sycophants who want to milk the party for their personal selfish agenda support blind loyalty.

SG needs a new leader with vision.

  • LeadersJudged:

Everything(where powers are concern) is pivoted on leadership…the character of those who have control over the…organs of he state.
If they are liars and untruthful, if hey are abusive through pig’s organs, here will be grave consequences for the people and nation.

Hence, it is important the people know what these leaders are made of. The public exposure of the character players is relevant and important to national development and the welfare of people.

If you have unjust leaders, obsessed with power and pride, citizens will be persecuted one way or the other through their policies unjustly

That’s why they, powers which don’t want to be charged for abusiveness, lies and injustice, would want these matters, sometimes they would cunningly refer or mislead the public by saying these are “private matters”( in association with private affairs of citizens in order to win or gain support because, most citizens consent that private should remain private however, the difference is, citizens are not critical national leaders so not same OK) and should be resolved privately – in other words, the people must not see the true character or Color of their national leaders critical to national development!

Hence, the pigs organs have been created and dictate that….

“There is a place for everything, and the place for fighting over a family will and inheritance is not via Facebook and social media.
Singapore is a mature country with a mature polity. There are probate courts. There are family courts. There has been much effort to promote mediation as a means for dispute resolution in tricky cases. There are men and women of integrity and influence who can be appealed to, to mediate.” – Bee Hoon say one

Put it this way….there is a lot of “unjust deaths”( especially for citizens) through these pigs organs when it is ruled by men(citizens don’t rule you but pigs organs will judge and control you with their agendas in mind where necessary nevertheless) with characters they don’t want you to see.

Come come, come into the the open light you mighty national leaders. What are you afraid of since you are non corrupt?

Want to waste state resources and tax payers’ money for an inquiry ? Inquiry over what ? Who is saying the truth. Allegations have been made … so let them sue each in a civil court … let the fat lawyers earn their bucks, generate GDP !

Why did a sitting PM involved PMO in making replies to siblings on a private petty family argument as alleged by the great Goh ? You should be asking such questions ??

I don’t think it is a question of who to believe is telling the truth.

This is a private family matter, the clown PM have already said so. The question is why forma committee paid by the taxpayer to look resolve his own private family affair? It is accepted by both sides that such a committee has been formed and are studying the options for the property.

Is that not an abuse of power? So on this one simply fact alone, it seems the siblings are factually correct.

Then the clown PM brought up his concern about how the final will was drawn up. The old fart made it quite clear even during a taped interview that he wanted the house demolished. So his intent is clear and supports the clause in the will. What is the problem here?

It draws into question the cunning and slyness of the clown PM whose heart is not in the right place.

  • When Shit Hits The Fan:

How did it come to this?
First papa, despite his professed life time of self sacrifice, acquires enough drooling acres of properties to distribute to his next of kin. Notably, not to charity.
Daughter discovers that the equal distribution formula disadvantages her, having no spouse or children to share in the booty. Unlike her brothers.
Next, eldest brother discovers he is bequeathed a house that is destined to be demolished if the dying man’s wish is to be honoured.
Then second son discovers that his wife is targeted for nefarious reasons. By a secret committee that even the 70% daft was not informed about.
All hell breaks loose when a middle finger is raised, and shit hits the fan.
Of course, the simple solution is to call in the bulldozers. But with the organs of state on call at the pleasure of a prime minister who is recovering from China’s highly publicised snub, anything goes. It is no longer a family squabble.

Dont worry about the chair will not be impartial This time its different. The accusers are not commoners. They are ah-leetocrats too and as one of the accusers had said commoners cant fight back but they can .

Also the open inquiry will generate alot of social media buzz n followed closely by global news media and matters could only turn ugly n worse off for the accused if the inquiry is anything less than impartial.

LOL, once again once again, in a rigged system, committees and inquiries are tools to legitimize the wrong doings of a failed system. Do you have a single example even Singapore justice system, let alone fake committees and inquiries have been given an outcome against the men in government who continuously riggs the system?
Bottom line, there is no goodie goodie tippy tappy ways to fight and change a utterly rigged system, there are only one way to fight it that’s tear it down and rebuild the other way is if you don’t like the system don’t be part of it, leave which we did so we are clear to our conscience.
