最近,政府组屋电梯发生了一系列事故。新加坡民主党对此表示关注。这些电梯事故不仅造成几人受伤,还导致一人身亡。最近所发生的事故包括: 2015年10月14日,裕廊:电梯门卡住,扯断一名85岁老妇的手掌。 2016年1月23日,榜鹅:电梯内门没有关上,电梯却继续运行。 2016年3月6日,宏茂桥:一架电梯因制动器失灵而直冲17楼,导致一名电梯乘客受困长达1个半小时。 2016年5月15日,巴西立:电梯卡住。电梯门打开时没有与地面对齐,结果一名轮椅阿伯摔倒而不治身亡。 2016年6月7日,武吉班让:一架电梯像悠悠球(yo-yo)一样地突上突下,从9楼突降到1楼,然后又直冲上11楼,再往下降到3楼,最后升到12楼。这起事故结果造成一名59岁妇女脊椎骨折。 2016年6月10日,盛港:电梯突然在一股强烈的震动后停顿下来,之后又猛降几层楼才完全停下来。 去年10月发生了裕廊老妇断掌事故后,该区议员尚达曼副总理呼吁提升电梯安全水平。 他要求一个强而有力的审查机制以监督维修承包商的例行检查。他补充道:“我们需要培养零意外的文化……特别是涉及电梯问题这方面。” 裕廊不幸事故发生至今已经超过半年,然而电梯安全问题始终悬而未决。这些问题不仅造成电梯搭客受伤,甚至还夺走了一条人命。 尽管国家发展部长黄循财在今年三月时做出了保证,他的部门“绝对不能向安全妥协”。 为什么过了这么久之后,黄先生才向公众公布他的部门所将采取的应对措施?难道不能更迫切地采取更严格的措施吗?所造成的人命伤亡是可以避免的吗? 民主党吁请国家发展部即刻采取措施避免同样事故发生。发展部也应该立即公布一份详尽报告,列明全岛电梯在维修方面所进行的工作项目。报告应该公开电梯制造商的名字以及制造商的原产国以及生产地。 陈两裕 副主席 新加坡民主党
